How are you doing today? Feel like enrolling your children in the nearest school? Are you tired of looking like a spokesperson for lounge wear, but anticipating the need to suddenly bolt towards your 2yr. old eliminates any possibility of heels? Would you occasionally like to discuss something other than school? We are homeschool moms and we understand. We're thankful for the opportunity and freedom to teach our children at home. We are also individual human beings who at times, need a moment to step away from responsibility and just breathe. Let's step away together and share a laugh ... cry ... talk make-up, hair & your favorite jeans! You are not alone. We are here with you and for you. Visit A Mother's Retreat today & Let's talk about you! Though my husband and I like fish , I can hardly get our children to eat it! If the fish sticks are re-e-ally crunchy, they'll try them:) Here's a fish recipe I particularly enjoy! (click HERE to add your favorite fish or vegetarian recipe!) My Favorite Salad 1.) *Start with Romaine Lettuce (or Dole Classic Romaine Salad) *Lemon Juice (1 whole lemon squeezed for 1 bag of Dole Classic Romain or 5 leaves of Romaine) *1/4 cup of olive oil * pinch of salt *your favorite fish - grilled *fresh romano cheese (or grated romano or parmesean cheese) *1/4 cup of chick peas 2.) Place your salad on a plate. 3.) Mix Lemon juice , olive oil and salt in a bowl or cup. 4.) Pour lemon mixture over your salad. 5.) Grate cheese over salad (or sprinkle your already grated cheese). 6.) Add Chick Peas. 7.) Break or cut grilled fish into pieces and add to your salad. 8.) Toss and enjoy! Variations: Use chicken or steak or only peas instead of fish. If you'd rather not toss your fish (or variation) into the salad, toss salad and place fish on top.
